Ingredients:
- 100g of grated coconut
- 150g of all-purpose flour
- 50ml of water
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1/2 tsp of baking powder
- 2 tbsp of vegetable oil
- 2-3 green chilies
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 tbsp of vinegar
- Salt to taste
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Mixing bowl
- Rolling pin
- Pan
- Spatula
- Serving plate
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the grated coconut, all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually add water to the mix and knead until a soft dough forms.
- Divide the dough into two equal portions and roll each into a flat circle using a rolling pin.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and add 1 tbsp of vegetable oil.
- Cook each roti on the pan for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- While the rotis are cooking, prepare the chili paste by blending green chilies, garlic, vinegar, and salt in a blender until smooth.
- Serve the hot pol roti with the spicy chili paste on the side.
